What’s on your list of New Year’s resolutions for 2010? If you’re like the majority of us the list usually includes one or all of the following—spend more time with family and friends, quit some kind of unhealthy habit (and spending hours playing Rock Band absolutely does not fall into that category) or simply exercise more.
Driver Safety Mode
If you’re using CoPilot Live then you’re already on your way to keeping this resolution. CoPilot Live features clear and prompt spoken directions, including full street names, at each turn so you can direct your full attention where it needs to be—on the road. Driver safety mode cuts down distractions by only displaying a map on the approach to a turn and automatic day-night mode switching helps to reduce screen glare.

Copilot is working great for me, but I do miss announcing the full street names. When will the windows mobile version for North America text-to-speech be available. I don’t see it in copilot central 2.0.

I’d like to know too, it’s now early 2010 and this TTS was supposed to be out by the end of 2009.
TTS will be available for Windows Mobile phones very shortly. As soon as it is we’ll post the update here. We appreciate your patience.
