Can you still buy additional maps (e.g., Europe) with this version?

Yes you can purchase additional maps of Europe with this version. You can purchase them from CoPilot Central 2.0, the desktop management software companion of CoPilot Live: http://www.alk.com/copilot/central/
UPDATED: You will not be able to purchase maps of Canada with the CoPilot Live USA Android app at all. If you want maps of Canada you will need to purchase the CoPilot Live North America Android app. I apologize for the confusion.

So how does this differ from the CoPilot Live North America that I paid $20 for other than the obvious missing Mexico & Canada maps?

CoPilot Live USA includes only maps of the U.S. as you stated, CoPilot Live North America includes maps of Canada as well. The USA app includes a slightly smaller set of POIs than the North America app as well. All other navigation and live features are the same.

Have NO success downloading Live Traffic trial on my Droid. All I get is a error message and no response from Support. I’d like to try it on an upcoming trip.
