This week CoPilot Live continues its journey around the world.  We’re excited to announce we’ve expanded our mobile GPS navigation apps into the following new territories:  South East Asia, South America and the Middle East. 

If you’re traveling abroad as many of us do for business or pleasure, CoPilot Live can provide some familiarity and in an unfamiliar country by offering clear, visual navigation and turn-by-turn directions in your own language.  An eye-opening article appeared on USA TODAY this morning, naming road accidents as the #1 risk to American tourists traveling abroad.   The article states disoriented travelers driving on the road as one the major causes of accidents.  Here at CoPilot Live, supporting our customers in the countries in which they need to drive and providing safe and reliable navigation is one of our highest priorities and the release of these new regions is an important milestone in this ongoing project.

The new CoPilot Live countries and regions include:

• South East Asia: Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Philippines and Thailand
• Middle East: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Egypt
• South America: Brazil
• Europe: Russia and Turkey

South East Asia, Turkey, Russia, Brazil and Middle East are now available in the CoPilot Live Webstore for Windows Mobile & Android users.  Russia and Turkey are available for Android users as part of the Europe app on Android Market.  **Note for current CoPilot Live USA & North America Windows Mobile and Android customers, you should only purchase additional map regions as upgrades from CoPilot Central or the CoPilot Live Webstore.
