This week’s #TravelTuesday post addresses a topic that I can imagine most people have experienced during family vacations.  At least it does in ours!  What if you hate theme parks but you can’t escape them because your family loves them?  My husband hates roller coasters while I seek the fastest one with the most stomach dropping falls.  There’s a way to survive and make the best of the situation as described in this great blog post I found about visiting Orlando, Florida - home of one of the biggest theme parks:  http://wanderlustandlipstick.com/2010/orlando-when-you-dont-like-theme-parks/

The blog post mentions renting a car to explore other things to do in the area besides visiting the theme park.  Where would you go?  What would you do?  If you have your CoPilot Live with you, then you already have a travel guide ready to guide you in an unfamiliar area.

Once you have the car, you’ll need to find something to do.  For this you can check out the Attractions POI category in your CoPilot Live.  You can choose to look at “any attractions” in the app to see what’s nearby or choose one of the sub categories to narrow it down:  Zoo, Winery, Tourist Attraction, Museum, Historical Monument and more.  There’s something for everyone!
