After the new update on an IPAD, I am getting POI database error. Also, while driving down the North California coast, there is no indication of the difference between ocean and land. Roads just look like they are much further inland. YOu cannot tell that in many places, the roads run right alongside of the ocean, at varying heights.
Hello pxcajun,
Thank you for your comments. We are aware of the POI database error and we are fixing it right now and should have an app update out to you ASAP. We apologize for the inconvenience.
As for the issue with the oceans and land, I’m not completely sure what you’re referring to. Perhaps you can send me a screenshot of what you’re seeing, my email address is dvalenti@alk.com.
Thank you,
Devon
Please guys, launch an app for Windows Phone 7. There are plenty of customers waiting. There is no bing navigation app either. Literally no competition for you guys. A very basic app will also go a long way
Hello xy,
Thank you for your feedback & suggestions.

I have purchased the Ipad version, 3G, 64 GIG and it worked great until recently when I now
get a poi corurpt file in info file usa, I deleted as it asked, I also notice that I use to be able through options to get automatic updates through the app, that is also gone. Do you know when this will be fixed or is that considered to be my problem. It use to be a good one.
Hi Daniel,
Thank you for your message. We are aware of the POI corruption issue that the iPad is currently experiencing. We’ve fixed the bug and have submitted the new update to iTunes, we’re just waiting for it to be approved. My rough guess is it will be approved by the end of the week. We apologize for the inconvenience.
I’ve also responded directly to your email and would like to speak with you further about the automatic update issue you’re experiencing.
Thank you,
Devon
