I can not activate my software. There is no map on my desk top.
Thanks.
I found this someplace on this site and it worked for me. I was able to activate the program after I reset the screen resolution.
There is a conflict with Copilot and the current screen resolution setting. Please follow the steps below to change your screen resolution:
Windows 2000/XP:
• Right click on a blank area of your desktop and select Properties.
• This will bring up a display properties window then click on Settings.
• If your screen resolution is set to 1152 x 864, 1280 x 768, 1360×1024, 1440 x 900, 1400×1050 you will need to lower your resolution to allow CoPilot to open.
Windows Vista:
• Right click on a blank area of your desktop and select Personalize.
• This will bring up a display properties window then click on Display Settings.
• If your screen resolution is set to 1152 x 864, 1280 x 768, 1360×1024, 1440 x 900, 1400×1050 you will need to lower your resolution to allow CoPilot to open.
Your use of the term “very soon” is getting a little tiresome. This post was posted on 9/2/09. It is now 9/10/09 and I still haven’t gotten support responses to claims filed on 8/17/09 and 9/2/09.
Your sales department said “very soon” when it comes to all the add-ins your product advertises. That looks like it will be more like 30 – 60 days.
You guys are doing a poor job of managing customer expectations.
I am generally quite happy with CoPilot for my iPhone but having used a TomTom for a number of years I think the system could be improved with more voice prompts to give advance warning of turns. I have found that the voice prompts are too late to get into the correct lanes, particularly around towns. Is this something you are considering?
