It’s only been 4 months since we launched CoPilot Live on iPhone, yet in that time we are delighted to see that CoPilot Live v8 is officially the best selling app of 2009 on the App Store.
The App Store model has been something of a revelation for us in 2009, as it allows us to not only offer CoPilot Live more easily to customers of a particular mobile platform, but also allows us to distribute software updates easily too.
Possibly most important of all has been the huge quantity of customer feedback that we have been receiving from customer reviews since day one. Although it may not always appear so, we take these comments extremely seriously and aim to read every single one. The feedback goes straight into our product development team to address customer issues and make improvements to CoPilot Live v8 on all mobile platforms.
Looking ahead to 2010, we will continue to listen to your feedback and you can look forward to new updates and features as a result.
Meantime, we are proud to have beaten over 100,00 other apps to the #1 spot on iPhone in 2009, ahead of some pretty well known names. Seasons greetings to Jamie, Scrabble, National Rail, Ocado, Sky, Call of Duty, Monopoly and of course, TT.

Great news, and deservedly so.
Would be good if you could follow up on some of that feedback though.
In particular, you guys *have* to fix the issue where (on Android at least, and I’ve heard it’s the same on iPhone) the arrow changes to a dot and leaves the road periodically. It’s *so* frustrating – and totally unnecessary if the app just makes the location more ‘sticky’ (like TomTom does) until it next gets a GPS update. It seems to be a big problem when driving at speed, not so bad when on backroads..
But on the whole, I’m pretty pleased with CoPilot – keep up the good work.
It is very odd to see this (not that the app isn’t great) but I was just checking this list when it came out a couple days ago, and copilot wasn’t listed anywhere on the page? Not in the top lists or in any category? Was there some error
Is it about time you had it running on the n96, as the map are getting very old it could be faster to get a new phone but it will not be the iphone.Maps that are old of date will cause some think bad.
This must be like UK apple store only. Certainly doesn’t even show up in the top 25 in the USA store. Sorry
Yes, it is reffering to the UK iTunes. This is the UK CoPilot blog, the US blog is: http://blog.us.copilotlive.net/
