England: Still on course, different route

The POI database can help with hasty re-arrangements

It didn’t take too long after Wednesday’s victory to realise that things hadn’t quite gone according to plan in the football – and coming second in the group stages would mean a significant alteration in the predicated travelling details of many following fans.

Fortunately, CoPilot Live v8 users in South Africa can simply change their stadium destination and enjoy their alternative route  courtesy of full, voice guided, turn-by-turn instructions and a choice of mapping views. The Points Of Interest database should also prove helpful in finding some hastily arranged accommodation.

Again for those planning to follow England and not packing CoPilot Live on their mobile, a Turn List of directions from Cape Town to the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein can be downloaded here

Finally, in anticpation of England’s game with Germany on Sunday, we’ve asked some of our German colleagues to participate as guests in this week’s CoPilot Live Pundits Panel. Not suprisingly, they remain optimistic about their chances.

For the record, over half of the participants in last week’s panel correctly predicted the outcome of the Slovenian game – let’s hope they prove just as successful this week!
