Since the weekend, if you’ve tried to launch CoPilot Central 2.0 on your desktop, you may already have discovered that it does not start up properly. You may see an Unhandled Exception error message similar to the one below when you launch CoPilot Central 2.0 and we would like to apologise for any inconvenience this is causing you.

Thank you.
On a side note: You use the phrase “Share and Enjoy” above the linking icons. Did you know that this phrase spells trouble?
“”Share and Enjoy” is, of course, the company motto of the hugely successful Sirius Cybernetics Corporation Complaints division, which now covers the major land masses of three medium sized planets and is the only part of the Corporation to have shown a consistent profit in recent years.”

Good spot! I never noticed that was a Hitchhikers reference. Incidentally, we’ll be changing the ‘share and enjoy’ links system next week.
Is this version compatible with the HD2?
The link to a page where you are instructed to download version 2.2.0.25 [06/08/10].
Where is version 2.2.0.28?
Greetings
I notice it still trips UAC in Win 7. Is this really necessary?
Like Sergio said, link still contains at fault 2.2.0.25 version. Someone should be checking this guys !!!
You will find that despite what it says, it actually is version 2.2.0.28. The unzipped exe file should show the date 23 Aug 2010 (at least that is what it shows on the Win 7 64 bit version)
since my previous post the page has been updated as has the description and the file. Have just finished installation and version 2.2.0.28 (32 bit) works ok.

Hi there
Can you contact our support team at http://www.copilotlive.com/support.
Whatever has been done in version 2.2.0.28
It still falls over either in 32 or 64 bit.
Without this I have no means of even downloading the maps
I just purchased. (No link in the email)
For ALK Tech.
If the registry is cleaned of all ALK info and co-pilot info,
then the system rebooted.
A clean install of Copilot Central works.
Simple uninstall is not sufficient.
Maybe you can create an uninstaller / registry cleaner for those
less computer savvy ?
