Recent results from Halfords, the UK’s largest motor accessory store show a half yearly drop of 16% in the sale of dedicated Personal Navigation Devices (PND). We’ve suspected for some time that the combination of new navigation services and the continued rise of the GPS-enabled smartphone might pose some difficulties in the dedicated PND space.
