How to transfer a v8 Traffic Subscription to CoPilot Live Premium

One of the great new features in our new CoPilot Live Premium app is the introduction of the ActiveTraffic service. Available as an optional 12 month subscription, it takes into account real-time traffic flow along your route to calculate the fastest way to your destination. If a severe delay occurs on route, CoPilot Live will try to find a quicker way to go.

There’s some good news for CoPilot Live v8 customers who have an existing subscription to Live Traffic. You can transfer it to CoPilot Live Premium for free. Here’s how:

In CoPilot Live Premium, select Main Menu > MyCoPilot > My Account > Transfer Subscriptions

Important - please ensure that you are logged-in with the same CoPilot ID that you used in CoPilot Live v8 – so we can find your traffic subscription and transfer it to CoPilot Live Premium.

You will now be able to use ActiveTraffic in CoPilot Live Premium for the remainder of your subscription period. Once the subscription expires you can renew it from the Features and Upgrades section.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

    Not true, not working.

Even called tech support and they are still not respondng to the problem, replied back to their e-mail and still no responce.

Once again you need to improve product support and reliability

Tried emailing support about this twice with no response.

Why isn’t this listed under the help section on the main website, I only found by chance.

As above support need to be improved.

Anyone notice the text to speech is not very good in the new version? I live near St Aldates in Oxford, for instance. It is pronouced Street Aldates. Not very bright. Otherwise app is good. I see a tiny message estimating the length of minor delays. Do you mentally add that to the ETA or does it update itself?

It also spells out road numbers. eg Take the A-One-thousand-four-hundred-and-eighty-eight! Needs an update to get back to v 8 fluency.

I have given up emailing the egits in support. Your blog above says that if I have v8 Copilot with Live Traffic (which I do) then I can upgrade to Copilot premium with Active Traffic for free. Correct? The question is How? Your blog says go into CP Premium and etc, etc. But how can I go into CP Premium if I don’t have it yet. Please send me the link.

      Hi Ginny

If you have a Traffic subscription in v8 you can transfer the reminder of your subscription to CoPilot Live Premium after purchase of the app. Apologies for the confusion.
